It all started in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí with three boys waiting for their train to Ostrava. We of course cannot forget that on the way to Ostrava two girls joined the party in Frýdek-Místek and together, they formed a team...

Alright, time to stop the slop. So as you may or may not know, we joined an Erasmus program, which would let you travel anywhere in Europe if you were to be chosen.

Spoiler, we were one of the chosen ones!!!

From a lot of paperwork to days we spent in school even though we had holidays, it's finally here, the day we embark to Denmark.

Everything started normally, casual delays are part of every single train journey in Czech Republic. That's something we prepared for and with enough time between trains we managed to get to Brno without any trouble. Oh boy, what would later come for us, we couldn't predict and prepare for in any sort of form.

The first thing that made us all a bit skeptical was that we were leaving to Berlin from Brno dolní nádraží (lower station), do you even know where that is? We didn't know too. But that was not the problem, you see, the train was having a delay that started from a few minutes. In the sheer cold we patiently waited for the train, but then they came. Three half drunken perverts. In cold and their unfunny jokes we waited, persisted, then the train came. After thirty five minutes delay!!!

Author’s note: One thing’s for sure, we’re never riding NightJet again.

We parted ways with the pervs and headed to our cabin.

Going to the cabin.

Wait why are here already booked tickets and other people in OUR cabin?

Suddenly a conductor came and asked for our tickets.

„Guys, your tickets are for yesterday.”

Whoopsie, really?

Fortunately for us, the conductor was really nice and let us be in the train. So without a cabin, we were half asleep on the floor waiting till Prague. By that time, those guys should be out and to make sure, we reserved seats in that cabin.

When we arrived in Berlin, we were surprised by the size of the train station which had multiple floors. We struggled a bit searching for our station but we managed to find it.

Our karma was from that moment broken, because from Berlin to Hamburg we got really great train and the same goes for the one to Copenhagen.

In Copenhagen, one last challenge awaited us: train communications, which we managed to get through and finally, took a bus to our home... which is absolutely insane!!! Big and beautiful garden. Huge house with a lot of space. After all that struggle, this monstrous of a reward made our day.

End of chapter 1.
